I’ve been a member of my local RWA chapter for over twenty years and just today our current president actually managed to do something no other has ever done: she sent out a questionnaire and got answers back from over 90 % of the membership.
Now, don’t think for a minute this was an easy feat. Our president is nothing if not tenacious. She also is very sweet and charming and can wield a velvet covered hammer that is almost impossible to ignore. I admire her and her achievement to no end. And what’s even better is that she’s made an incredible list of topics the membership is interested in learning about.
I would like to emulate her in my own way–I want to know you, my readers.
I’ve been writing this blog for about fifteen years and I still don’t know what you might like to learn about. Now, I do not have a velvet covered hammer. I don’t have a way to contact you directly to nudge you (beg or plead) to answer my questions, I can only say that if you tell me what you’d like to learn about, I may very well be able to help you either by writing about the topic myself or pointing you toward books #or websites that can help.
