* A page is defined as being double spaced, a standard font such as Times New Roman 12 pt, 1-inch margins all around. Each chapter should begin on a new page.

Coaching

Story Development Package

For writers who want to develop a story idea from the very beginning.

  • One hour phone call to establish the idea and the plan of action
  • Character development: you will come away with character sheets on all of your major characters and a list of minor characters.
  • Plot development: you will come away with a complete outline of your story: I work with Plottr Pro where we can collaborate in real-time!

Monthly Book Coaching Professional

$300

For writers who want regular help with their work in progress.

  • Read, with in-line comments, up to 15 pages per week
  • An email concerning what I’ve read and how to move forward
  • One 30-minute phone call every other week

Private Writing Craft Tutoring

$50/1-hour lesson

For writers who need to learn the particulars of different aspects of writing craft.  Lessons are taught by email and/or over Zoom and include a thorough discussion of the topic and all necessary worksheets. Topics include

  • Character Development
  • Goal, Motivation, & Conflict
  • Writing Deep POV
  • Story Structure
  • Self-Editing

Coaching: $75/hour by Zoom or email.

Accountability Package: One email a week, one 1-hour Zoom call every other week. I will work with you to determine a goal and then help you to achieve it with a weekly check-in (or more frequent, depending on need). Starting at $199/month.

Self-Publishing Coaching: I will teach you how to format your book for ebook and print-on-demand and guide you through the uploading and publishing of your novel. I'll also discuss with you all that one needs to be a professional author including creating a website, setting up a newsletter, social media accounts, and get you started on marketing. $300 for everything or $50/hour for specific help with some aspects of publishing--whatever you need.
